If there is one thing I hate, it’s returning bottles to the depot. Fortunately I came across an app called: SkipTheDepot. This app allows you to summon the depot to come to you.
After you download the app, you book a pickup time and the depot will come to your home or office and pickup your recyclables (including old electronics and clothing).
The best part; you can have the money you earn donated to charity. So, we set up a free account for our Club. Now, when you return your bottles the Club can receive the money. $1 Million was donated to charities in Alberta through this program in 2021. Hopefully our Club operations can get a piece of this money!!

SkipTheDepot is a convenience app (similar to Uber or SkipTheDishes) that takes your bottles & cans to the bottle depot for you! It's a free service replacing the trip to the bottle depot.
